China - Zhuhai show - Beijing museums - nov 2012 - boek nu! -

Informatie

De volgende editie van de China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition op Zhuhai, ook wel Airshow China genoemd, vindt plaats van 13 tot en met 18 november 2012. Het evenement levert steevast een aantal zeer interessante militaire Chinese toestellen op. We willen een reis organiseren naar deze show en het bezoek aan China combineren met een uitstapje naar Beijing voor, onder andere, het museum van Datang Shan.

Routebeschrijving
Hieronder staat de voorlopige planning.

Beijing
We vertrekken op maandag 12 november 2012 vanaf Amsterdam naar Beijing, waar op dinsdag 13 november 2012 zullen aankomen. We gebruiken die dinsdag voor een stadstour door Beijing. Op woensdag 14 november 2012 gaan we naar het grote luchtvaartmuseum van Datangshan. In de middag bezoeken we de nabij gelegen Chinese Muur.

Shenzen en Zhuhai
Op donderdag 15 november 2012 vliegen we naar Shenzen waar we de Minsk bezoeken, het vliegdekschip dat dienst doet als luchtvaartmuseum. Later op de dag rijden we door naar Zhuhai. Op vrijdag 16 en zaterdag 17 november 2012 bezoeken we de Zhuhai Air Show.

Beijing
Op zondag 18 november vliegen we weer terug naar Beijing. In Beijing zullen we bezoeken brengen aan het War Museum (met een aantal vliegtuigen), het Tiananmen Plein en de Verboden Stad. Op maandag 19 november vliegen we weer terug van Beijing naar Amsterdam.

Opties
Met name voor de civiel geïnteresseerden hebben we 2 opties om de reis naar je eigen interesses aan te passen;

Optie A: In plaats van een tweede dag op Zhuhai Air show, is het ook mogelijk om één dag naar het vliegveld van Hongkong te gaan en daar te spotten.

Optie B: Het is mogelijk om de reis aan het einde te verlengen met 2 dagen in Beijing om bij het vliegveld te fotograferen. De terugvlucht is dan op woensdag 21 november 2012.

Reissom

De prijs voor deze reis bedraagt € 2489,- per persoon. Deze prijs omvat:

• Vlucht van Nederland naar China
• Vlucht van China naar Nederland
• Twee binnenlandse vluchten in China
• Hotelaccomodatie (middenklasse hotels, op basis van tweepersoonskamers)
• Alle vervoer in China

De eenpersoonskamertoeslag bedraagt € 225,-. Optie A (Hong Kong) kost € 120,- per persoon. Optie B (2 dagen verlenging) kost € 250,- persoon. Vervoer naar en van de luchthaven is hierbij inbegrepen.

• kosten voor het visum (houd er rekening mee dat als je naar Hong Kong gaat je een double-entry visum voor China nodig hebt)

Verzekeringen

Het is mogelijk om, via 4Aviation, een reis- en/of annuleringsverzekering af te sluiten. De reisverzekering kunnen we alleen voor Nederlands ingezetenen aanbieden.

• Reisverzekering (basis + geneeskundige kosten + ongevallen + rechtsbijstand)

(€ 1,75 per persoon per dag in Europa, € 2,65 per persoon per dag Werelddekking + € 3,50 poliskosten)

• Annuleringsverzekering

(5,5% van de reissom plus € 3,50 poliskosten en daarover 9,7% assurantiebelasting)

• Noot: prijzen en assurantiebelasting zijn onderheving aan (wettelijke) wijzigingen

Na aanmelding ontvang je een verzoek tot betaling (30% van de reissom). Zodra de betaling binnen is ontvang je een bevestiging via de E-mail. Aanmelding geschiedt op basis van de volgorde van binnenkomst van de betaling. Door te betalen verklaar je je akkoord met de voorwaarden.

Information

The next edition of the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition at Zhuhai, also known as Airshow China, takes place from 13 to 18 November 2012. The event is generally good for a number of very interesting Chinese military aircraft. We intend to organise a tour to this show and combine the visit to China with a detour via Beijing and visits to, amongst others, the museum of Datang Shan.

Itinerary

Following is a preliminary schedule.

Beijing
We will depart from Amsterdam to Beijing on Monday 12 November 2012, where we will arrive on Tuesday 13 November. We will use the Tuesday for a city tour of Beijing. On Wednesday 14 November 2012 we will visit the large Aviation Museum at Datangshan. In the afternoon we will visit the Chinese Wall (which is close by).

Shenzen and Zhuhai
On Thursday 15 November 2012 we will fly to Shenzen where we will visit the Minsk, the aircraft carrier now in service as an Aviation museum. Later this day we travel to Zhuhai. On  Friday 16 and Saturday 17 November 2012 we will visit the Zhuhai airshow.

Beijing
On Sunday 18 November we will fly back to Beijing where we will visit the War Museum (that has a number of aircraft on display), the Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City. On Monday 19 November we will fly back to Amsterdam.

Options
Especially those interested in civil aviation may enjoy the following options:

Option A: Instead of a second day at Zhuhai airshow, it is also possible to visit Hong Kong Airport for one day to photograph the aircraft.

Option B: It is possible to extend your tour with two days in Bejing to do some spotting there. Your flight back will then be on Wednesday 21 November 2012.

Tour cost

Price for this tour is € 2489,- per person. This price includes:

• Flight from The Netherlands to China
• Flight from China to The Netherlands
• Two internal flights in China
• Hotel accommodation (middle class hotels, twin share room basis)
• All transportation in China

• entrance fees for museums or airshows

• visa fees (please note that if you chose the Hong Kong option you need a double-entry visa for China)

It is possible to arrange a travel and/or cancellation insurance via 4Aviation. The travel insurance is only available to citizens of The Netherlands)
