Van 28 mei tot en met 8 juni 2012 wordt de volgende NATO Tiger Meet georganiseerd. Deze keer is Skvadron 338 op Ørland (Noorwegen) aan de beurt om dit evenement te organiseren. In december 2011 werd bekend dat er op 1 juni 2012 een spottersdag wordt georganiseerd en op 2 juni een vliegshow. We zijn van plan om met een groep richting Noorwegen reizen.

Routebeschrijving
Hieronder staat de voorlopige planning.

We vertrekken op donderdag 31 mei 2012 vanaf Amsterdam met een rechtstreekse KLM-vlucht naar Trondheim. We landen om 16.30 uur op Trondheim, waarna we meteen per bus naar ons hotel gaan. Dit hotel ligt in Åfjord, op ongeveer een uurtje rijden van Ørland. Bij dit hotel is het ontbijt inbegrepen en als je je vishengeltje meeneemt kun je in het riviertje bij het hotel wellicht nog wat vangen.

Op vrijdag (1 juni) gaan we, na het ontbijt, naar de vliegbasis voor de spottersdag en op zaterdag 2 juni doen we hetzelfde om de vliegshow te bezoeken. Op beide dagen rijden we aan het einde van de middag weer terug naar ons hotel in Åfjord. Op zondag 3 juni vertrekken we ’s morgens weer richting de luchthaven Trondheim – Værnes om daar rond tien uur weer in te checken voor de vlucht terug naar Amsterdam-Schiphol (vertrek om 12.20 uur).

Reissom

De prijs voor deze reis bedraagt € 749,- per persoon. Deze prijs omvat:

• Vlucht van Nederland naar Noorwegen
• Vlucht van Noorwegen naar Nederland
• Hotelaccomodatie (middenklasse hotels, op basis van tweepersoonskamers)
• Alle vervoer in Noorwegen
• De entreekosten voor de spottersdag

Deze reis is ook zonder vliegreis te boeken. In dat geval dien je zelf voor het vervoer naar en van Noorwegen zorg te dragen. De kosten voor de reis zonder vliegreis bedragen € 429,- per persoon. De eenpersoonskamertoeslag bedraagt € 225,-.

Verzekeringen

Het is mogelijk om, via 4Aviation, een reis- en/of annuleringsverzekering af te sluiten. De reisverzekering kunnen we alleen voor Nederlands ingezetenen aanbieden.

Between 28 May and 8 June 2012 the next NATO Tiger Meet will be organised. This time it is Skvadron 338 at  Ørland (Norway) taking care of the organisation. In December 2011 it was announced that a spotters day will be organised on 1 June 2012 followed by an air show on 2 June. We plan to head for Norway with a group.

Itinerary

Following is a preliminary schedule.

On Thursday 31 May 2012, we will depart from Amsterdam on a direct KLM-flight to Trondheim. We will arrive at Trondheim at 16.30, after which we will head for our hotel by bus straight away. This hotel is located in Åfjord, at about an hours’ drive from Ørland. Breakfast is included at this hotel and if you bring your fishing rod you might catch something in the small river that runs very near to the hotel.

On Friday (1 June), after breakfast, we will go to the air base for the spotters day and on Saturday 2 June we will do the same to visit the air show. On both days we will head for our hotel at Åfjord at the end of the afternoon again. On Sunday 3 June, we will we will depart in the morning towards the airport of Trondheim – Værnes to be able to check in at 10 o’clock for our flight back to Amsterdam-Schiphol (departure at 12.20 local).

Tour cost

Price for this tour is € 749,- per person. This price includes:
