Czech Air Force Days – September 2017

Information

The next edition of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days will be held at Ostrava on 16 and 17 September 2017. This event is guaranteed to bring you interesting participants. In 2016 for instance they had a USAF B-1 and B-52.

Besides an extensive air show and static display the event also offer a cool programme on the ground including a demo of tanks for instance. We want to organise a tour to this show in 2017. A video report of the 2016 event can be found here.

Itinerary

The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.

On Thursday 14 September we will fly to our destination (from Eindhoven) and return to the Netherlands (Eindhoven) on Monday 18 September 2017.

On Friday 15 September we will capture the arrivals and rehearsals for the show from the outside and we will visit the show itself on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September.

Tour cost

Price for this tour is € 549,- per person. This price includes:

  • Flight from The Netherlands to Poland
  • Flight from Poland to The Netherlands
  • Hotel accommodation (middle class hotels, twin share room basis, two beds and ensuite bathroom)
  • All transportation in Poland and Czechia

You can also book this tour without the airline tickets. In that case you will have to take care of the transportation to and from Czechia or Poland. The price for the tour without airline tickets is € 359,- per person. The single-room supplement for this tour is € 125,-.

Not included:

  • individual travel insurance
  • entrance fees for museums or airshows
  • all meals
  • all personal expenditures

Insurances (Dutch conditions apply)

It is possible to arrange a travel and/or cancellation insurance via 4Aviation. The travel insurance is only available to citizens of The Netherlands.

Note: prices and insurance tax are subject to (governmental) changes

(€ 2,10 per person per day in Europe, € 3,25 per person per day World coverage + € 3,50 costs)

(5,5% of the tour cost plus € 3,50 costs and 21,0% insurance tax)

(covers 75% of the tour cost, also when an event is cancelled for instance)
