Net voordat de gate gesloten werd kwamen nog twee deelnemers uit Schotland aangerend om ook nog mee te gaan. Op Trondheim zelf, waar we ongeveer twee uur later landden, stonden nog vijf deelnemers te wachten daardoor de groep mooi compleet was. De bus stond al te wachten en binnen no time werd koers gezet richting het hotel. Een klein stopje bij een lokale supermarkt gaf iedereen de gelegenheid om wat inkopen voor de vrijdag te doen in dit schreeuwend dure land. Na een overtocht met een ferry (Flakk-R\u00f8rvik) en ongeveer een uurtje bussen kwamen we aan bij het hotel in \u00c5fjord. Het was de eerste nacht even wennen dat het niet donker zou worden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-2e9cxgx-f364a55159084f986b2871a00331934a'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >1 juni 2012<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Op vrijdag (1 juni) werd het ontbijt al vanaf 6 uur geserveerd en dat was ook nodig. We wilden de bus al om 06.30 uur \u2019s morgens in beweging zetten richting \u00d8rland Air Base om ieder geval op tijd voor de spottersdag te zijn. We waren \u2019s morgens al wakker geworden met ijsafzettingen rondom het hotel en onderweg zagen we nog her en der sneeuw in de bermen liggen. Het was maar goed dat (bijna) iedereen voldoende warme kleding bij zich had. De rit verliep prima en net voor 8 uur \u2019s morgens waren we bij de ingang. De inschrijfprocedure voor de spottersdag verliep vlekkeloos. Met bussen werd iedereen eerst naar de brandweergarage gebracht en van daaruit werd naar een plek tussen de hoofd- en de parallelbaan gelopen. Voor het markeren van het gebied waar we mochten staan hadden de Noren een hele eenvoudige oplossing bedacht, een hele lange strook gras was gemaaid (en de rest niet). Dat was het gebied dus, geen lintjes, geen hekken. Het werkte perfect! Naar schatting 450 tot 500 spotters hadden de tocht naar de, toch redelijk lastig bereikbare, basis gemaakt. Ook de media vonden deze opkomst weer interessant en er werden aardig wat items over spotters gedraaid. De locatie was perfect en het weer werkte goed mee, dus de ochtendwave werd heel fraai in take-off gefotografeerd. Voor de recovery werd iedereen weer per bus vervoerd, dit keer richting kop van de baan, waar de toestellen uit zouden taxi\u00ebn. Ook dit was weer erg fraai! Ook hier geen lintjes, waardoor het mogelijk was om \u00f3p de rolbaan te liggen voor de mooiste foto\u2019s. De grenzen van veilig werden hier wel opgezocht. Voor de middagwave herhaalde het ritueel zich (waarbij met name de Tijger-toestellen vlogen), zowel bij de hoofdbaan als de kop van de baan, waardoor iedereen aan het einde van de dag een hele rits hele fraaie opnamen mee het veld af kon nemen. Een bus bracht ons aan het einde van de dag weer richting het hotel in \u00c5fjord.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-1w1htgx-d1634c75a1527737c9b7542a0020168d'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >2 juni 2012<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Voor zaterdag 2 juni stond de Tiger Air Show op het programma. De poorten zouden om 9 uur \u2019s morgens openen en wij waren daarvoor al bij de poort en konden meteen doorrijden. Dit zorgde ervoor dat we, met zon en nog praktisch geen bezoekers, de static goed konden fotograferen. De open dag zelf stelde niet zo gek veel voor maar leverde toch weer een aantal fraaie fotomomenten op. De vliegshow bestond uit het voorvliegen van een aantal Tiger Meet deelnemers (Zwitserse Hornet, Belgische F-16\u2019s, Tsjechische Gripen en een Franse Rafale), een air power demo van de Noren (met F-16\u2019s, een Orion en een Falcon 20) een tweetal Vampires, Catalina en de Noorse F-16 solo demo. Het weer varieerde deze dag nogal (af en toe bewolkt, af en toe wat regen, maar ook zon), maar op de meest cruciale moment leek het weer mee te werken. Een deel van de groep had ervoor gekozen om de vliegshow van buiten het veld te fotograferen (zodat ze de zon in de rug zouden hebben), dus nadat de bus de vliegbasis had verlaten aan het einde van de dag werden eerste twee groepjes buiten het veld opgepikt voor het weer richting hotel ging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-1ik594h-e24b6f5e2d6f98173eaa98a19d479071'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-4-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >3 juni 2012<\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-4-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Op zondagmorgen (3 juni) stond het ontbijt weer om 6 uur gepland. Wilden we er zeker van zijn dat we de terugvlucht zouden halen dan moesten we rond 06.30 uur weer gaan rijden. Dit was ook ingegeven door de wetenschap dat er stakingen op de luchthavens plaatsvinden van beveiligingspersoneel waardoor de controles wellicht meer tijd in beslag zouden nemen. Nadat iedereen zijn sleutel had ingeleverd nam de groep weer plaats in de bus. De samenvatting tijdens de rit was dat het een heel geslaagd evenement was voor de foto\u2019s, maar dat het jammer was dat een aantal deelnemers niet op was komen dagen. Op Trondheim aangekomen bleek dat de rij voor de controle inderdaad redelijk lang was, maar niet onoverkomelijk. Op tijd zat iedereen dus te wachten op de aankomst van onze KLM Embraer 190, toen er een Bell 412 van de Noorse luchtmacht binnen kwam zetten. Een leuke afsluiter, want dat type hadden we de voorgaande dagen nog niet gezien. Na een smetteloze terugvlucht keerde iedereen in de loop van de middag weer huiswaarts. Wetende dat de Tiger Meet in 2013 weer op \u00d8rland plaats zou vinden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div id='av-masonry-1' class='av-masonry
