&#8216;regular&#8217; geworden. De 14 deelnemers genoten van het weer en de vliegtuigen die er ter gelegenheid van de jaarlijkse open dagen van de Griekse luchtmacht te zien waren. Alle deelnemers, op twee na, vlogen op donderdag 4 november 2010 vanaf Schiphol met KLM rechtstreeks naar Athene. De groep voegde zich in Athene bij de twee laatste reizigers, maar niet nadat er voor twee personen wat formulieren in waren gevuld omdat hun bagage niet mee was gekomen met de vlucht. De bagage zou \u00b4s nachts alsnog komen en dan onderweg ergens op een busstation op te halen zijn. Vanuit Athene ging het meteen door naar Kalamata voor de overnachting. Het hotel was in blijde verwachting van de groep en na een prima maaltijd werden de bedjes opgezocht.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-4f10aeb13f60f84992d98e432338d5cb'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >5 november 2010<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Aangekomen op Kalamata (vrijdag 5 november) bleek de static een tikkeltje beperkt te zijn. Vanwege de financi\u00eble problemen van het land was de opzet dit jaar iets kleiner van aard. Dat nam natuurlijk niet weg dat er op Kalamata genoten kon worden van de unieke Buckeye. Een poging om, in overleg, bij de flightline van de Buckeyes te komen werd lokaal ondersteund, maar stuitte op een \u2018nee\u2019 van hogerhand. De lijn stond er desalniettemin goed gevuld bij. Na Kalamata ging het richting Andravida, onderweg een preserved F-104 mee pikkend. De static op Andravida kende wel de bezoekende A-7, F-16 en Mirage 2000. Het derde veld voor deze dag was Araxos. Daar stond een aantal toestellen van eigen veld op een platformpje voor een nieuwe hangaar. Op weg naar het hotel voor de nacht werden de ontbrekende koffers opgehaald bij het busstation van Patra.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-745c2c297d6f1fc37d220803698852a7'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >6 november 2010<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Net als vorig jaar waren we dit jaar, op zaterdag, weer in de gelegenheid om de stored toestellen op Agrinion te fotograferen. Het vriendelijke basispersoneel begeleide de groep wederom naar de tientallen Corsairs en Starfighters. Het weer was fantastisch, de foto\u2019s evenzo en het bezoek deed veel mensen goed. Onderweg naar Elefsis werd een korte blik geworpen op het platform van Megara, waar een aantal Chinooks en een C-12 te zien waren op deze zaterdag. De open dag op Elefsis had weer een aardige diversiteit aan types in de aanbieding. Met wat geduld en inspanning was de static best aardig te fotograferen. Na Elefsis ging het naar Athene voor de overnachting.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-e9007026fdc7cb62ec5547d3f3678e24'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-4-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >7 november 2010<\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-4-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Op zondagmorgen, 7 november 2010, stonden we mooi op tijd bij de eerste preserved F-104 in Athene. Na nog zo\u2019n toestel bezocht te hebben ging het richting Dekelia-Tatoi. Doordat op de kleine static van Tatoi net weer andere types stonden dan op de andere velden (T-41, Dromader, AgCat), werd de score weer verder uitgebreid. Het museum op Tatoi is behoorlijk uitgebreid, maar best lastig te fotograferen. De groep vertrok redelijk op tijd, omdat op Tanagra een display van een F-16 gepland stond. De open dagen stonden formeel in het teken van 80 jaar Griekse luchtmacht en ter ere daarvan vond op Tanagra een solo display plaats van een F-16 van Souda. Dat ook de Griekse burgers dit interessant vonden bleek toen er op Tanagra duizenden bezoekers waren\u2026 waar de overige open dagen meestal heel erg rustig zijn. Na het bewonderen (en fotograferen) van de F-16 demo vertrokken we weer. Aan het einde van de middag bezochten we de static van Nea Anchialos nog. De overnachting was in Volos, waar het hotel heel praktisch aan de boulevard gesitueerd was.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-ac07ae88fe0d221ae170e3f31a2c476e'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-5-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-5' aria-controls='tab-id-5-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >8 november 2010<\/div><div id='tab-id-5-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-5-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Op maandag (8 november) gingen de poorten van de luchtmachtvelden pas om 13.00 uur open. Daarom werd de ochtend, deels, besteed aan een poging om toegang te krijgen tot de landmachtbasis Stefanovikion. Een verzoek tot een officieel bezoek was afgewezen, maar we wilden ter plaatse kijken of er toch iets van toestemming te krijgen was. Dat lukt helaas niet en de herinnering aan Stefanivikion (en haar tientallen helikopters en U-17\u2019s) bleef daarom beperkt tot de nummers, zonder daarbijbehorende foto\u2019s. Op weg naar Larissa, via een aantal preserved toestellen, was het weer inmiddels behoorlijk verslechterd. De zon van de afgelopen dagen had plaats gemaakt voor veel regen. Op Larissa had men wel een behoorlijke static opgezet. Door relatief lang te wachten op een zonnetje was er toch wel het een en ander redelijk te fotograferen op dit Phantom en F-16 veld. Het bezoek aan Larissa was het laatste bezoek in het kader van de open dagen. Wat resteerde voor deze dag was de rit terug naar Athene, in de aanhoudende stevige regen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-510d646cf6bf971b203bb946d01a1bfd'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-6-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-6' aria-controls='tab-id-6-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >9 november 2010<\/div><div id='tab-id-6-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-6-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Na een weerzien met het hotel van twee nachten ervoor was het dinsdag (9 november) alweer tijd om richting huis te gaan. Maar niet nadat we een bezoek hadden gebracht aan wat wrecks &amp; relics in Athene en een bezoek aan het centrum. Nadat ook de Akropolis op de gevoelige sensor vast was gelegd reisde de groep richting het internationele vliegveld van Athene voor de terugreis.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div
