Tijdens dit jaarlijkse evenement hebben de piloten van de Zwitserse luchtmacht een week de tijd om hun live schiet vaardigheden weer bij te spijkeren. Hierdoor zijn de weersomstandigheden, zeker in oktober, erg wisselvallig. Voordat we uit Nederland vertrokken was het al duidelijk dat de weersomstandigheden niet ideaal zouden zijn. Voor de eerste dag zag het er in de middag nog goed uit, maar voor de tweede dag werd sneeuw en andere nattigheid voorspeld.<\/p>\n<p>Op dinsdagochtend 8 oktober stegen zeventien 4Aviation reizigers en een reisleider vol goede moed in de bus op weg naar Zwitserland. Onderweg in Karlsruhe werd nog een deelnemer opgepikt en in het leuke hotel in Interlaken verwelkomden we gast negentien, aangereisd vanuit Hong Kong. In Interlaken genoten we een gezamenlijke maaltijd en gingen vroeg naar bed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-226621bd32ef4a52f120d2c9246b7e25'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >9 oktober 2013<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Op woensdagochtend (9 oktober) moesten we alweer om 05.00 uur in de bus zijn. Die bracht ons naar een park + Ride nabij Brienz. Daar togen we in een andere bus naar de Axalp-Windegg kabelbaan op 1.546 meter. Via een kabelbaan rit van 1.100 meter arriveerden we op het bergstation op 1.926 meter. Dit alles gebeurde in het pikkedonker en de serene stilte van de vroege ochtend. Bij het bergstation van de kabelbaan was al een flinke modderpoel zichtbaar van de mensen die ons die dag, zelfs die week, voor waren geweest. Daarna begon de klim naar boven via een route die was afgezet met rood\/witte lint. De groep ging individueel, in eigen tempo, naar boven. De route voerde ons over weilanden, die normaal door Milka-koeien worden bevolkt en daardoor ook diepe gaten vertoonde, en rotsen naar boven. Door het vochtige weer van de voorgaande dagen was de route slipperig.<\/p>\n<p>Voor \u00e9\u00e9n van de deelnemers sloeg daar het noodlot toe. Op een steile helling viel hij en voelde een knappend gevoel in zijn linker enkel. Gelukkig was er snel iemand bij van de organisatie en een paar minuten later was ook de reisleider van de groep ter plekke. Na het toedienen van eerste hulp was het wachten op de hulptroepen. We waren boven op een berg, de weersomstandigheden te slecht voor een helikopter. Ondertussen was ook duidelijk dat de oefening de eerste dag niet door zou gaan. De reisleider nam contact op met de 4Aviation thuisbasis en die informeerde iedereen telefonisch van de stand van zaken. Na enige tijd waren ook vier extra manschappen gearriveerd met een draagbaar. Na enkele checks werd het slachtoffer daarop gelegd, de reisleider nam alle bagage mee en zo ging de reis langzaam en slipperig naar beneden. Op de dichtstbijzijnde weg stond een militaire ambulance die ons naar de voet van de kabelbaan bracht. Daar stond een andere auto klaar die ons naar het hospitaal in Interlaken zou brengen. In de auto hoorden we ook dat de tweede dag was geannuleerd, erg spijtig allemaal. Het slachtoffer werd in het ziekenhuis goed geholpen en al snel bleek het om een gecompliceerde breuk in de enkel te gaan, gepaard met een breuk net onder de knie. De artsen stelden voor om meteen te opereren om alle botten weer op de plek te krijgen. Dat gebeurde in de namiddag.<\/p>\n<p>De groep had zich ondertussen weer bij de bus verzameld en ging teleurgesteld naar het hotel om zich op te frissen. We waren voor niets naar Zwitserland gereisd en een deelnemer had een gecompliceerde breuk in het been opgelopen. De reisleider was tijdens de operatie terug gegaan naar het hotel en samen met de groep werd de situatie doorgesproken en bekeken we onze mogelijkheden. Besloten werd niet bij de pakken neer te gaan zitten en van die dag nog iets moois te maken. Het had geen nut dan nog extra lang te blijven en de volgende dag zouden we vroeg naar huis vertrekken.<\/p>\n<p>In de middag bezochten we een mooi natuurgebied, de Tr\u00fcmmelbachf\u00e4lle, en onderweg naar het hotel kwamen we nog een klein helikopterbedrijf tegen waar we een paar foto\u2019s konden maken. De avond werd besloten met een lekkere maaltijd.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-e5e4f734e7f11337d67ecab24d660946'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >10 oktober 2013<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>De terugreis van de groep begon op donderdagmorgen (10 oktober) en iedereen was weer op diezelfde donderdagavond thuis.<\/p>\n<p>De operatie bij het slachtoffer was succesvol verlopen, maar nu stonden een paar dagen rust op het programma voordat het gips aangebracht kon worden. We onderzochten de mogelijkheden om hem thuis te krijgen. Het feit dat deze persoon geen reisverzekering had afgesloten hielp daar niet bij (dan was het vervoer namelijk gratis geweest voor hem en volledig georganiseerd door de reisverzekering). Na zoeken bleek de trein de snelste mogelijkheid te zijn om met een gegipst been te reizen. Deze reis vond op woensdag 16 oktober plaats, een week nadat het ongeval plaats had gevonden. Het slachtoffer is veilig thuis gekomen.<\/p>\n<p>De eerste 4Aviation reis die helaas niet dat bracht wat we allemaal voor ogen hadden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div
