Een 2<sup>e<\/sup> deel van de groep vertrok vanaf D\u00fcsseldorf om praktisch tegelijkertijd te arriveren in Athene. Enkele deelnemers reisden op eigen gelegenheid en kwamen pas later aan. Na aankomst werden de 2 benodigde busjes geregeld en werd er al snel koers gezet naar een hotelletje voor de eerste nacht nabij Athene. Na inchecken werd er nogmaals naar de luchthaven gependeld om de resterende deelnemers te begroeten en naar het hotel te brengen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-l9jlucyz-8-dbf23ac11376989fd33526a80c11e39e'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >14 september 2022<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vandaag, woensdag 14 september 2022, was het relatief vroeg op daar de groep om 8u bij de ingang van Tanagra werd verwacht om zich te melden. Uitchecken van het hotel verliep vlot alsook het kleine uurtje rijden naar de basis. Na afronding van de formaliteiten, even wachten op de badges en een goodie-bag van de AFW organisatie mocht de basis betreden worden.\u00a0 Op deze eerste dag werden wij en de aanwezige \u00a0andere enthousiasten begeleid naar een positie bij de \u2018contact-car\u2019 tussen de runway en taxiway. Er moet gezegd worden: hier stond je prima! Eerste bezoekers waren 2x F-15C Eagles uit Saoedi-Arabie, waarvan eentje in special c\/s ter \u00a0gelegenheid van 91<sup>e<\/sup> verjaardag van Saoedi National Day (de dag waarop de koninkrijken Nejd and Hejaz werden samengevoegd)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tussen normale operaties van de gebaseerde 331M en 332M squadrons druppelden er gedurende de dag nog een paar bezoekers voor de show binnen. Al met al een leuk dagje bij volop zonneschijn. \u2019s Avonds ingecheckt bij ons hotel voor de komende nachten in Chalkida en werd van de lokale culinaria genuttigd.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-l9jlucyz-7-38594140e8cae4d5211c63be38d60295'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >15 september 2022<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op deze zonovergoten donderdag 15 september 2022 meldden wij ons wederom relatief vroeg op Tanagra. Analoog aan de woensdag werd de groep ook vandaag bij de \u2018contact-car\u2019 gepositioneerd. Vandaag arriveerde het gros van de bezoekers voor het showweekend. Tevens werd er beperkt operationeel gevlogen door de locals. Highlight van vandaag was toch wel de binnenkomst van een T-2 Buckeye alsook een korte stop van een C-2 Greyhound die door de gedraaide windrichting nogal camera-schuw bleek.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-l9jlucyz-6-6ce1845838e1e354226fbaad2842a9b6'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-4-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >16 september 2022<\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-4-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deze vrijdag 16 september 2022 was generale repetitiedag. De fotografen, en wij dus ook, werden nu gepositioneerd in een afgebakend stukje in de crowdline met een tribune die welkome schaduw bracht op wederom een nogal warme, zonnige dag. In de vroege ochtend kwamen assets van de Hellenic Army binnen voor zowel static als ook voor het vlieggedeelte. Tevens kwam het duo F-16\u2019s van Team Zeus binnen na allebei hun demo te hebben gerepeteerd. Het grootste deel van de dag was echter voor display-validatie van de . Bijvoorbeeld de Hellenic Army vloog met meerdere heli\u2019s. De Saoedi\u2019s vlogen 2x, zowel met de special c\/s als de standaard F-15, iets wat natuurlijk enthousiast bekeken werd.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-l9jlucyz-5-13f5773142ab0ad96d89cf66c834b2dd'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-5-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-5' aria-controls='tab-id-5-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >17 september 2022<\/div><div id='tab-id-5-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-5-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vandaag, zaterdag 17 september 2022, was de 1e van de 2 show-dagen. De groep koos om op tijd op het veld te zijn om de static te kunnen fotograferen zonder al te veel publiek. Dit bleek goed uit te pakken daar er rond een groot aantal toestellen, o.a. de T-2 en de helikopters, (nog) geen dranghekken stonden. Ook vandaag hadden we toegang tot de tribune. Na uitchecken bij ons hotel werd er wederom koers gezet naar Tanagra. In de vertrekterminal werd er afscheid genomen en vertrok een ieder naar zijn desbetreffende bestemming in Europa en daarbuiten. De terugvluchten naar AMS, DUS, etc verliepen volgens de dienstregeling. Hiermee kwam een einde aan een leuk tripje naar het zonnige Griekenland.
