class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>Griekenland 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Een grote groep luchtvaartliefhebbers bezocht Andravida tijdens de eerste spottersdag voor Iniochos 2023. Net als in voorgaande jaren werden er spottersdagen georganiseerd, dus voor ons weer een mooie gelegenheid om naar Griekenland af te reizen. Een kleine groep reisde in de eerste week vooruit om te onderzoeken wat de mogelijkheden in het laagvlieggebied zouden zijn. Zo verzamelden op zondag 23 april 2023 acht fotografen zich op D\u00fcsseldorf voor de vlucht naar Athene. Na aankomst werd het huurbusje opgehaald en werd koers gezet naar ons hotel aan de kust.\u00a0 Genietend van een heerlijke Griekse maaltijd werd er genoten van de zonsondergang.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-lj37z70k-6-e9d2ef90c9a3648a4ebb0d598ef36892'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >24 april 2023<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op maandag 24 april werd al vroeg koers gezet naar het dichtbijgelegen punt waar we hoopten laagvliegende toestellen te zien. Ne een korte rit en een korte maar intensieve klim kwamen we aan op het beoogde punt. Een prachtig uitzicht over de bergen in Kalavryta met een opgaande zon was de trip eigenlijk al waard; nu nog vliegtuigen! De plek waar we stonden werd door meerdere mensen bezocht, allemaal in afwachting van aanzwellende straalmotoren. Helaas bleef het lang, heel lang, stil. Omdat de plek waar we waren alleen in de ochtend de juiste stand van de zon had verkasten we rond het middaguur naar de andere kant van de kloof. Een wat toegankelijkere plek, maar ook iets verder van de beoogde vliegroute. Ook hier werd ons geduld danig op de proef gesteld, maar diep in de middag (15.30) werden we getrakteerd op drie Italiaanse Tornado\u2019s die hun weg hadden gevonden. Succes! Na de Tornado\u2019s zagen we nog twee Spaanse Hornets die de omgeving aan het verkennen waren en vijf Saudi Eagles die een fotovlucht aan het maken waren. Het kleine succes van de dag werd gevierd met een heerlijke maaltijd en een gezellig biertje aan de kust.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-lj37z70k-5-7e8e5ca00b163eb54949b3a4ac27bdc8'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >25 april 2023<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na een fijne nachtrust begon dinsdag 25 april alweer vroeg met dezelfde insteek als de dag ervoor; laagvliegende vliegtuigen. De dag ontvouwde zich echter exact als de dag ervoor: heel lang wachten totdat er rond 15.30 een aantal Tornado\u2019s door de kloof kwam. Niet helemaal waar we op gehoopt hadden maar als je niets probeert dan heb je zeker niets! Aan het einde van de dag werd koers gezet naar Patras voor onze overnachting aldaar. Daar kwam, later op de avond, ook de groep aan die eerder op de dag vanuit Nederland was vertrokken.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het merendeel van die tweede groep, bestaande uit 36 enthousiastelingen van heinde en verre, was eerder die dag vanuit Schiphol in twee \u2018sessies\u2019 naar Athene gevlogen. Door het niet beschikbaar hebben van vliegtuigen (Transavia) moest er op het laatste moment uitgeweken worden naar KLM, waardoor niet iedereen op dezelfde vlucht geboekt kon worden. Op de luchthaven van Athene stond dezelfde bus en dezelfde chauffeur als in 2022 weer klaar om de groep naar Patras te brengen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-lj37z70k-4-062b40aed4c7f52cf9d4fd181d19efb2'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-4-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >26 april 2023<\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-4-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De eerste spottersdag voor Iniochos 2023 stond vandaag gepland, woensdag 26 april 2023.\u00a0 Na een rit van een klein uur, met beide groepen in de grote bus, arriveerden we bij de basis. De administratie ging een stuk sneller dan in voorgaande jaren en voor we het wisten liep iedereen op de basis. Iniochos 2023 zag de deelname van 11 landen, een recordaantal sinds 2015 toen Iniochos voor het eerst werd gehouden. Concreet waren de deelnemers Cyprus met een AW139, Frankrijk met Rafales, India met Su-30&#8217;s, Itali\u00eb met Tornado\u2019s, Jordani\u00eb met F-16&#8217;s, Saoedi-Arabi\u00eb met F-15&#8217;s, Sloveni\u00eb met PC-9&#8217;s en Spanje met EF-18\u2019s. En daarnaast natuurlijk een hele verzameling toestellen van de Griekse luchtmacht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Voor het eerst in jaren werd de mogelijkheid geboden om aan de \u2018goede\u2019 kant van de baan te beginnen, met zon in de rug. Die zon was er dan ook in het begin, maar langzaam trok het dicht en begon het te regenen. Jammer, want er werd een flinke missie gevlogen. Rond het middaguur werd iedereen naar de andere kant van de baan gebracht en was de zachte regen overgegaan in een stortbui. Wonder boven wonder klaarde het daarna prachtig op en kon de middagmissie, die bestond uit vele toestellen, fraai worden vastgelegd. Uiteindelijk een zeer geslaagde dag! De avond werd doorgebracht in Patras waar iedereen zijn eigen weg ging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-lj37z70k-3-bec75e2f54aeaddab71ed68ea14f6793'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-5-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-5' aria-controls='tab-id-5-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >27 april 2023<\/div><div id='tab-id-5-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-5-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op donderdag 27 april 2023 vertrok de groep die het laagvliegen had \u2018gedaan\u2019 al vroeg naar Athene voor de terugvlucht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De rest van de groep had nog een andere bestemming deze dag; het museum op Dekelia-Tatoi. Dit bezoek was aangekondigd bij het museum omdat het museum normaal gesproken alleen in het weekend open is. Dat we verwacht werden was meteen duidelijk bij aankomst. De groep werd, op militaire wijze, onderverdeeld in twee even grote delen die onder begeleiding over het museumterrein en door de hangaar liepen. Gelukkig was het ook weer mogelijk om het storage-gedeelte van het museum te bezoeken en het weer was fantastisch. Helaas was er geen activiteit te bespeuren van de HAF trainingstoestellen of de sproeiers en ook de Coast Guard liet zich vandaag niet zien. Daarna was het ook voor deze groep tijd om richting de luchthaven te gaan voor de terugvlucht naar Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div id='av-masonry-1' class='av-masonry
