class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2>Griekenland III 2025<\/h2>\n<p>In 2025 brachten we opnieuw een bezoek aan de Athens Flying Week in Tanagra, Griekenland. Tien van de veertien deelnemers namen die dag de vroege Transavia-vlucht naar Athene. Omdat in de 4Aviation-groep ook deelnemers uit Australi\u00eb, Canada en Japan zaten, hadden de overige vier hun eigen vluchten geregeld en we ontmoetten elkaar op Athene Airport.<\/p>\n<p>Nadat we de twee huurauto&#8217;s hadden opgehaald, vertrokken we naar ons hotel in Chalkida. Het hotel, gelegen aan de boulevard met vele restaurants en bars, zou onze thuisbasis zijn voor de komende zes nachten. &#8217;s Avonds genoten we voor het eerst van de lokale keuken.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-misnu0ov-bb3a79432f3377feb6ba5a816cabc9e0'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >4 september 2025<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Uitslapen was niet aan de orde op donderdag (4 september). Dat is sowieso zelden het geval bij 4Aviation-tours. Omdat alle deelnemers tickets hadden voor de volledige periode (van aankomst tot vertrek), moesten we vroeg op de basis zijn voor toegang.<\/p>\n<p>Vandaag zouden we de hele dag bij de &#8220;contact car&#8221; tussen de landingsbanen doorbrengen. De zon scheen volop (en dat was de hele tour door zo). Hoewel sommige deelnemers voor de show al op woensdag waren binnengekomen, zou het vandaag vooral om arrivals gaan. We hadden echter geluk dat de dag begon met meedere lokale Rafales en een paar Mirage 2000&#8217;s die een reguliere missie vlogen.<\/p>\n<p>Hierna werden verschillende arrivals gefotografeerd. De Saudi Typhoon (die al was gearriveerd) vloog een rehearsal en een F-16D vloog een testvlucht na onderhoud bij HAI. De dag eindigde met de aankomst van een EMB145H AEW&amp;C, die een hele gave low-pass uitvoerde voor zijn landing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-misnugx7-2bd4f7270188f614779c986f593b41d1'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >5 september 2025<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Dezelfde procedure in de vroege ochtend (vrijdag 5 september) als de dag ervoor; het ontbijtpakketje ophalen bij het hotel. Dan de straat oversteken naar een lokale winkel (24\/7 geopend) die verse koffie en allerlei soorten broodjes verkocht om de dag door te komen. Volgende stap: naar het veld.<\/p>\n<p>De spotterstribune was vanaf vandaag beschikbaar, dus we zochten onze plaatsen op en brachten de dag door op en voor de tribune. We vonden echter vooral wat schaduw&#8230; Veel activiteiten van de Griekse strijdkrachten vandaag, zowel arrivals als rehearsals. Het evenement is een goede gelegenheid om naartoe te gaan als je de minder gangbare types wilt zien en fotograferen (Navy SH-60, Army AH-64, Chinook, Air Force M346, enz. enz.). Ook vandaag; arrivals van Italiaanse vliegtuigen (Tornado en HH-139). Wederom een goede dag, die &#8217;s avonds opnieuw werd gevierd met lekker eten en een lekker drankje.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-misnut3i-ce40881ca2e186cdeb985dd31e8511c6'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-4-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >6\/7 september 2025<\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-4-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>De daadwerkelijke airshow vond plaats op zaterdag en zondag (6 en 7 september). Met onze Grandstand-passen was het een zeer ontspannen manier om van de show te genieten. Het feit dat we het afgesloten terrein konden betreden en verlaten, een gereserveerde zitplaats hadden, een verhoogde positie naast de taxibaan, schaduw, enzovoort, droegen enorm bij aan de hele ervaring.<\/p>\n<p>Op beide dagen was de show min of meer hetzelfde, waarbij de show op zaterdag pas vroeg in de avond eindigde. De static show was dit jaar wat aan de kleine kant. De airshow was erg leuk; wat dacht je van een solo-demonstratie van de Royal Saudi Air Force Typhoon (helaas was de speciale colours niet beschikbaar), een F-4E AUP van de Griekse luchtmacht, helikopterdemonstraties van het Griekse leger, een formatie van een HAF Mirage 2000 en Spitfire, enzovoort, enzovoort. Stel je dit alles voor bij mooi weer en goede lichtomstandigheden. Het binnenkomen op het veld en het vertrekken verliep zowel op zaterdag als zondag soepel, dus al met al hebben we ons weer prima vermaakt.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-misnv82h-888a90352edb0f8c1f7f88e4a6fa8ebf'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-5-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-5' aria-controls='tab-id-5-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >8 september 2025<\/div><div id='tab-id-5-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-5-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Op maandag 8 september gaven onze passen opnieuw toegang tot de basis. Vandaag stonden de departures van de deelnemers gepland. Het begon met de aankomst van een RSAF C-130, als support voor de Typhoons. De dag was een mooie gelegenheid om de kisten te fotograferen die we tot dan toe gemist hadden. De onverwachte terugkeer van de twee Saoedische Typhoons, na hun vertrek, was een mooie aanvulling.<\/p>\n<p>Omdat het niet veel tijd kost om een \u200b\u200bbehoorlijk aantal vliegtuigen te laten vertrekken, vond de organisatie het rond genoeg. Na elkaar bedankt en gedag gezegd te hebben, gingen we terug naar Chalkida voor een ontspannen middag en de laatste nacht in het hotel.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-misnvkcx-089c0f53b192060a46fc739be3f8c957'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-6-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-6' aria-controls='tab-id-6-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >9 september 2025<\/div><div id='tab-id-6-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-6-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>De terugvlucht naar Eindhoven (op dinsdag 9 september) zou pas om 20.00 uur vertrekken, dus dat gaf ons weer een volle dag in Griekenland. Deze dag begon met een ontbijt in het hotel, uitchecken en op weg naar Tatoi. We hadden toegang geregeld tot het Griekse Luchtmachtmuseum in Tatoi. De vliegtuigen die binnen staan, zijn in perfecte staat. Gelukkig was toegang tot de buitenopslagruimte weer mogelijk.<\/p>\n<p>Na het verlaten van het museum wilde de groep de Akropolis van Athene van opzij zien en fotograferen. Dus zochten we een plek waar dit mogelijk was. Een mooie plek ook voor een groepsfoto.<\/p>\n<p>Daarna was het tijd om naar het vliegveld te gaan nadat we eerst onze Japanse gasten in Athene afgezet hebben. De terugvlucht naar Eindhoven was zoals gepland en terug in Eindhoven werd de laatste handen geschud. Daarmee kwam er een einde aan weer een zeer mooie reis naar Griekenland!
