Na een tussenstop op Z\u00fcrich landde de groep rond 13.00 uur op Athene, waar we ook onze twee Duitse spotter-collega&#8217;s ontmoetten. De twee huurbusjes werden opgehaald en de rit naar Kalamata werd begonnen. Ongeveer halverwege maakten we een tussenstop op Tripolis waar we een deel van de preserved toestellen konden zien, plus een operationele Dromader. De groep arriveerde aan het begin van de avond in het hotel in Kalamata.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-cnmt2e-9307b02234841953584fc6173c8f2147'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-2-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >6 november 2009<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-2-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>De volgende ochtend maakten we een tussenstop bij het War Museum in Kalamata voor de F-5 die daar in de tuin staat. De static op dit veld was ongeveer hetzelfde als in voorgaande jaren, alleen was het dit jaar mogelijk om ook de operationele toestellen op de rolbaan te fotograferen. Dit resulteerde in fraaie plaatjes! Volgende stop was Andravida waar we door een Griekse luchtvaartenthousiast geholpen werden om de lijntjes en bordjes bij de toestellen op de static tijdelijk te verwijderen, zodat we goed konden fotograferen. Ook hier werden we getrakteerd op enkele operationele toestellen toen er een aantal Phantoms terugkeerde van een missie. Laatste stop van de dag was Araxos. De static was hier zeer beperkt en de security was ook scherper dan op de andere velden. Reden om niet te lang te blijven en het hotel op te zoeken.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-1245o6-f7aabe54876f86193274c9164402d828'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >7 november 2009<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Nadat vorig jaar een poging was misgelopen om de stored toestellen op Agrinion te fotograferen, was het dit jaar wel feest. Onder begeleiding van het zeer vriendelijke basispersoneel konden we vrijuit fotograferen tussen de vele stored A-7&#8217;s en F-104&#8217;s, een zeer geslaagde dag voor de liefhebbers van nostalgie! Na afscheid genomen te hebben van onze begeleiders werd de rit ingezet naar Elefsis. Daar konden we genieten van de late avondzon en nog enkele fraaie foto&#8217;s maken van de leuke static. Ons hotel bevond zich in Athene, op handige afstand van de meeste bezienswaardigheden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-9o0x6u-1eea9d0eb1ea4bf9f55d18dd66509952'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-4-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >8 november 2009<\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-4-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Aangezien op zondag de velden pas om 13.00 open gingen, werd de ochtend door een deel van de groep besteed aan het opzoeken van Wrecks &amp; Relics in Athene. Dit werd niet gemakkelijk gemaakt doordat het centrum van de stad was afgesloten in verband met de jaarlijkse Marathon. Toch werd een aantal locaties bezocht. Rond 12.00 uur pikten we de rest van de groep op bij het hotel, en zetten we koers naar Dekelia-Tatoi. Lokale spotters wisten ons te vermelden dat er een kleine vliegdemonstratie zou zijn, maar die werd op het laatste moment afgelast door het naderende slechte weer. Een deel van de middag werd doorgebracht in het museum, en werden we verrast door twee overvliegende CL415\u2019s en twee vertrekkende T-6&#8217;en. Het tweede deel van de middag werd Tanagra bezocht waar we gelukkig ook nog zon hadden voor de foto&#8217;s. Aan het einde van de dag werd koers gezet naar ons hotel in Larissa.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-7ts8fa-92ffa603ac6b665e127e26549d6f235d'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-5-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-5' aria-controls='tab-id-5-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >9 november 2009<\/div><div id='tab-id-5-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-5-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Op maandag werd er vroeg begonnen op Larissa. Het weer was bewolkt en buiig, maar het geluid van opstartende RF-4E&#8217;s maakte veel goed. Gedurende de ochtend konden we veel toestellen fotograferen op de rolbaan (F-16&#8217;s en RF-4E&#8217;s) en dit werd door de meeste mensen ervaren als het hoogtepunt van de trip. Op een gegeven moment vond de security het genoeg en mocht er niet meer op de rolbaan gefotografeerd worden, tijd dus om te vertrekken. Na een kleine tussenstop bij het basismuseum waren we binnen een uur op Nea Anchialos. De security hier is aan de overspannen kant, maar een initieel verbod op fotograferen werd na veel aandringen en bellen ingetrokken. De static mocht gefotografeerd worden, onder nauwgezette begeleiding. Aan het einde van de dag reden we naar Piraeus voor onze laatste overnachting.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-632n9y-0d64f19b0b931d15a8578babac944a31'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-6-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-6' aria-controls='tab-id-6-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >10 november 2009<\/div><div id='tab-id-6-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-6-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>De ochtend van de laatste dag werd gebruikt voor enkele W&amp;R locaties, waarna we in de middag de stad Athene hebben verkend. Onder meer de wisseling van de wacht en het Akropolis werden met een bezoek vereerd. Na afscheid genomen te hebben van de Duitse delegatie, vloog de groep aan het begin van de avond weer terug naar huis.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div id='av-masonry-1'
