Fouga CM-170 Magister

The Fouga CM-170 Magister is a 1950s French two-seat jet trainer aircraft, developed and manufactured by French aircraft manufacturer Fouga. Although small, it used two Turbomeca Marbore turbojet engines.

Over 900 were built and it served with several European countries (France, Belgium, Germany, etc.) as well as outside of Europe (Bangladesh, Israel, etc.).

“Our” CM-170 served with the Belgian Air Force and returned to Belgium in 2014 (after having spent time in Israel and the USA).
