A group of six men gathered early in the morning at Schiphol on Wednesday 15 October 2025. After a brief introduction, we set course for Warsaw, with the usual formalities at the airport. After a short and smooth flight, the first military aircraft were already photographed. We parked close to two B737s from the 1.BLTr, along with several Mi‑8s and W‑3s from the same unit. Photos could be taken from the ground, the bus, and the terminal.
After completing more formalities at Warsaw‑Chopin, we set off around midday towards Seoul‑Incheon. Despite a delay in Poland, we arrived in South Korea more than half an hour ahead of schedule. While it was still pitch‑black outside, it was already six in the morning locally (Thursday 16 October). So after the necessary checks, activating our e‑sims, and stocking up on a few supplies, we went to pick up the rental car. At Enterprise we were quickly assigned a “spacious” Kia, and after loading in the luggage and adjusting the seats, we set course for Suwon.
Roughly an hour and a half later, we found ourselves near the approach area, and as we grabbed our cameras, the first two aircraft were already in the break. Within 45 minutes we had captured a dozen KF‑5s, after which we decided to drive on to Osan. Soon a U‑2S appeared overhead, likely performing a rehearsal over Seoul AB in preparation for ADEX. In addition to this U‑2, which we were eventually able to photograph beautifully, the afternoon also brought a C‑17 (Travis), several EA‑18G Growlers, and F‑16s with tail codes OS, WP, and WW.
On the way to the hotel we passed an F‑86F displayed at the Osan Jukmiryeong Peace Park. The hotel, where we arrived not much later, would be our base for the next three nights. After checking in, a small group grabbed dinner in the city. Meanwhile, we had also met some other 4Aviation members. No less than four different 4Aviation groups were getting together at the same hotel.
