On 20 August, Hungarians always commemorate the anniversary of the death of St. Stephen. It’s especially interesting for us aviation enthusiasts because they hold a small air show over Budapest, consisting of a parade of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter demonstrations over the Danube. Almost all types of the air force participate. It’s a great opportunity for us to take a look.
We’re planning a short tour to watch the dress rehearsal, of course, the event itself in the city on the 20th, and visit a few museums and Wrecks & Relics locations.
