Linköping/Malmen Air Show – August 2026

Information

The Swedish Air Force will be celebrating its 100th anniversary with an air show at Linköping/Malmen on 22 and 23 August 2026. This base is home to the several aircraft and helicopters of the Svenska Flygvapnet and Forsvärsmaktens. Also, do not forget the impressive fleed of the Swedish Air Force Historical Flight (SWAFHF) which will participate en masse.

Itinerary

The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.

On Thursday 20 August 2026 we will fly to Sweden and return to the Netherlands on Monday 24 August 2026.

The plan at this moment is as follows:

  • Thursday 20 August 2026: fly to Stockholm, drive to Linköping/Malmen.
  • Friday 21 August 2026: watch rehearsals/arrivals from outside the base.
  • Saturday 22 August 2026: visit airshow.
  • Sunday 23 August 2026: visit airshow.
  • Monday 24 August 2026: watch departures, fly home from Stockholm.

Tour cost

Price for this tour is € 1099,- per person. This price includes:

  • Flight from The Netherlands to Sweden
  • Flight from Sweden to The Netherlands
  • Hotel accommodation (middle class hotels, twin share room basis, two beds and ensuite bathroom)
  • All transportation in Sweden
  • € 9,- contribution to GGTO

You can also book this tour without the airline tickets. In that case you will have to take care of the transportation to and from Sweden.. The price for the tour without airline tickets is € 875,- per person. The single-room supplement for this tour is € 300,-.

Not included:

  • individual travel insurance
  • entrance fees for museums or airshows
  • all meals
  • all personal expenditures
