Information
Exercise Cobra Warrior 26-1 will take place at various bases in the United Kingdom between 16 and 27 March 2026. Besides the main bases of this years event (RAF Coningsby & RAF Waddington) we also intend to visit several other interesting air basis in the area. These include Barkston Heath, RAF Cranwell, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. There are also a number of nice museums in the area that we can visit if the weather is not so good. However, for this edition, we’d like to start a little further afield on Monday, at RAF Shawbury and RAF Valley. These bases are located on the west coast of the UK and house RAF training helicopters (Juno & Jupiter) and aircraft (Hawk & Texan), types you don’t normally see very often.
We intend to go there for about a week, from 22-28 March 2026, with a minibus from The Netherlands and cross the Channel with a ferry from Calais to Dover. We can pick you up along the route. You can take a small stepladder with you and because of the small group we will have a lot of flexibility.
The following participating aircraft are thought to participate, a number of transport/tanker aircraft will also operate from their home base.
