Athens Flying Week - September 2018

Information

Over the last years, the Athens Flying Week has grown into a serious airshow and we are planning a tour to the 2018 edition. The show is held at Tanagra AB on 22 and 23 September 2018 and we are looking to organise a tour including the arrivals and departures of the show.

Our idea is to organise a tour during which we combine aviation photography with a bit of relaxing at the beautiful coastline of Greece, in a holiday home. The ideal combination of aviation and sun!

The photos above were not made during the Athens Flying Week, but during the various other tours to Greece we organised.

Itinerary

The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.

Our idea is to stay in a luxurious holiday home while in Greece, equipped with a swimming pool in a nice area near the coast. This way, we combine aviation with the real holiday experience. We have a limited number of seats on this tour, so please be sure to claim yours!

We will fly to Greece on Tuesday 18 September and return to the Netherlands on Monday 24 September 2018.

We will visit the Athens Flying Week at Tanagra both during the show-dates (22 and 23 September), as well as the arrivals and rehearsals on Wednesday until Friday.

Also included is the Grandstand ticket giving access to all days at Tanagra (in the past this ticket was priced € 120 ,-).

Tour cost

Price for this tour is € 1049,- per person. This price includes:

  • Flight from The Netherlands to Greece
  • Flight from Greece to The Netherlands
  • Hotel accommodation (a luxury holiday home, twin share room basis, two beds and ensuite bathroom)
  • All transportation in Greece
  • The grandstand ticket

You can also book this tour without the airline tickets. In that case you will have to take care of the transportation to and from Greece. The price for the tour without airline tickets is € 869,- per person. The single-room supplement for this tour is € 175,-.

  • individual travel insurance
  • entrance fees for museums or airshows
  • all meals
  • all personal expenditures
