    Every year the EAA AirVenture is held at Oshkosh (Wisconsin). The airshow with the largest number of aircraft attending in the world. Not only thousands of general aviation aircraft, but also many hundreds ‘Warbirds’ and military hardware are present at this aviation extravaganza!

    We plan to stay a whole week to witness the many hundred movements a day, the large unique formations of aircraft and visit the nearby idyllic Lake Winnebago with many floatplanes, a large market for aviation related items, presentations of the latest general aviation aircraft, the EAA Museum as well as the possibility to take scenic flights in several types of aircraft.

    Itinerary

    The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.

    On Saturday 20 July 2019 we will fly to the USA and return to the Netherlands on Sunday 28 July 2019.

    During the tour we will visit the show every day from Sunday 21 July. The event has not officially started on Sunday, but the arrivals are a treat to witness. From Monday to Friday we will then visit the show as long as we want. On Saturday 27 July we will visit the event during the morning, before we drive back for our return flight.

    Tour cost

    Price for this tour is € 1795,- per person. This price includes:

    • Flight from The Netherlands to the USA
    • Flight from the USA to The Netherlands
    • Hotel accommodation (middle class hotels, twin share room basis, two beds and ensuite bathroom)
    • All transportation in the USA
    • € 15,- contribution to GGTO

    You can also book this tour without the airline tickets. In that case you will have to take care of the transportation to and from the USA. The price for the tour without airline tickets is € 1145,- per person. The single-room supplement for this tour is € 350,-.

    • individual travel insurance
    • entrance fees for museums or airshows
    • all meals
    • all personal expenditures
