The Canadian Air Force celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2024 and, related to that, two interesting air shows are scheduled in Canada for August 2024. From 9 to 11 August 2024, the Abbotsford International Air Show is to take place at Abbotsford, BC. One week later, 17 and 18 August 2024, the Alberta International Airshow will take place at Edmonton, AB in Canada.
We plan to organise a tour during which we will visit both shows and spend time in the USA and Canada in between. Bases that come to mind; CFB Comox, NAS Whidbey Island, McChord AFB, Portland, the Boeing Everett Factory, the low flying area in Washington, etc.
