Bus trip – RIAT Fairford 2026 – 19 and 20 July 2026 – 4Aviation

Bus trip - Fairford

RIAT – 19 & 20 July 2026
Sunday & Monday

Information

Also in 2026 4Aviation will organise another 2-day trip to the biggest military airshow in the world, the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at Fairford on 19 and 20 July 2026.

The themes for the 2026 RIAT are promising and could result in some interesting aircraft for the show.

  • Fighter Meet – highlighting the aircraft used throughout the last century for air-to-air combat and hoping to include examples of modern fighter aircraft used across the globe.
  • It will be 30 years since the International Air Tattoo was awarded Royal status.
  • Royal Flight, which will be marked with a gathering of aircraft used for VIP transportation.

The RIAT always organises a huge event, for more detailed information on participating aircraft, please see here. Also refer to the reports of 4Aviation visits to RIAT in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

By popular demand, we’ve been able to organise two coaches for the 2-day trip to RIAT this year. This means we also have two hotels: the ibis Budget and the Holiday Inn, both in Swindon. The ibis is a bit more basic, so we’re offering it at a lower price. You can easily choose one of the two options in the booking menu.

We also organise a 1-day trip to this show; please see here for more information.
