Andravida – Exercise Iniochos – March 2026

Information

The Hellenic Air Force will organize the exercise Iniochos again at the Andravida base from 9 to 20 March 2026. There will be a spotterday on 16 March 2026. In recent years, the air forces of France, Israel, Italy, Spain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States, among others, participated in this exercise with a nice selection of combat aircraft. In addition, every fighter squadron in Greece sent out a quartet of aircraft.

That combined with the hospitality of the Hellenic Air Force should result in a nice visit to Greece from 15 to 17 March 2026.

Itinerary

The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.

On Sunday 15 March 2026 we will fly t Athens (Greece) and return to the Netherlands on Tuesday 17 March 2026.

The plan at this moment is as follows:

  • Sunday 15 March 2026: fly to Athens
  • Monday 16 March 2026: visit the spottersday at Andravida
  • Tuesday 17 March 2026: fly back to Amsterdam

The Greeks have already announced the following participants:

  • US with F-15E and KC-135
  • France with M-2000D
  • Romania with F-16
  • Slovenia with PC-9
  • Montenegro with B-412
  • Cyprus with AW-139
  • Albania with AS-532

And of course, the Greeks themselves with virtually every fighter type they operate. Israel has also announced its participation (with F-35), but they usually won’t stay for the entire exercise, so it’s unknown whether we’ll see them.

Tour cost

Price for this tour is € 699,- per person. This price includes:

  • Flight from The Netherlands to Athens (Greece)
  • Flight from Athens (Greece) to The Netherlands
  • Hotel accommodation (middle class hotels, twin share room basis, two beds and ensuite bathroom)
  • All transportation in Greec
  • € 9,- contribution to GGTO

You can also book this tour without the airline tickets. In that case you will have to take care of the transportation to and from Greece. The price for the tour without airline tickets is € 449,- per person. The single-room supplement for this tour is € 125,-.

You will need to register with the Hellenic Air Force to participate in the spotter’s day. The fee is € 40,- and is NOT included in the tour price.
