On Friday 29 June for the third year in a row, 4Aviation starts its third bus trip to the Flying Legends air show at Duxford in the United Kingdom. This air show, that attracts large numbers of warbirds, can be combined very well with a visit to the Imperial War Museum also located at Duxford. Like in 2011, enough people had opted to go to fill a double-decker bus. With the new pick-up locations of Nijmegen and Tiel, the ‘filling the bus’ process started on Friday late in the afternoon. The final, of over 70 passengers, were picked up in Ghent. From there it took about 2 more hours with the bus to Calais, to board the ferry for the crossing. This departed on its scheduled time, so we arrived near Duxford well in time on Saturday morning (after a longer stop for some breakfast).

Ik heb qua spotten zo'n zalig jaar meegemaakt. Hemels gewoon. Vooral ook zulke gave mensen mogen ontmoeten. Dank nogmaals voor jullie inspanningen. Zie alweer uit naar volgend spottersjaar.
