Tour status
Itinerary
The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.
Our tour will start on Wednesday 6 November and will last until our return on Sunday 10 November 2019. This will give us enough time to visit the larger part of the air force bases. At these bases in general a static display of several types of the Hellenic Air Force can be found (do not expect too many aircraft movements).
We will fly to Greece on Wednesday 6 November. Our plan is to visit Kalamata, Andravida and Araxos on Thursday 7 November. Theoretically there will be regular flying activities on Thursday.
On Friday 8 November we will then fly to Cyprus in the morning (without our suitcases) for a visit to Paphos, where a static display can be expected, and we will fly back to Athens in the evening again.
Since we will arrive back in Greece very late on Friday we still need to drive quite a distance to Nea Anchialos on Saturday morning (9 November). Depending on how we all feel about it, we can then decide whether or not to drive to Larissa today as well (the tour guide decides).
On Sunday 10 November we will then visit Dekelia-Tatoi, Elefsis and Tanagra before we fly back to the Netherlands in the evening.
Tour cost
Price for this tour is € 995,- per person. This price includes:
- Flight from The Netherlands to Greece
- Flight from Greece to The Netherlands
- The flights to and from Cyprus
- Hotel accommodation (middle class hotels, twin share room basis, two beds and ensuite bathroom)
- All transportation in Greece and Cyprus
- € 15,- contribution to GGTO
You can also book this tour without the airline tickets. In that case you will have to take care of the transportation to and from Greece (the return ticket to Cyprus is included though). The price for the tour without airline tickets is € 795,- per person. The single-room supplement for this tour is € 200,-.
