Itinerary
The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.
We will depart on Sunday 25 November 2018 and return to the Netherlands on Saturday 1 December 2018.
The exercise will take place between 18 and 30 November and we can look forward to participating aircraft from Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Peru, Uruguay and the USA. There will not be an open day.
With our tour we have 5 full days (Monday to Friday) to experience the exercise. On one day we will also go to Recife if there are enough tankers there that we can admire.
For now we can promise a visit from the outside. You can judge what this looks like in the report of our previous visit here.
This time also there will be quite extensive options to capture aircraft while being on base. Certain ‘spotting points’ have been created for this. To be able to visit these you need to be accredited. The accreditation is given on an individual basis. We can therefore not promise anything on this. As soon as we receive the details for the procedure we will send these to all that have booked the tour.
If you want to join our tour you have to decide at first knowing that you will get ‘photos in the approach and from the civil terminal’.
Tour cost
Price for this tour is ON REQUEST per person. This price includes:
- Flight from The Netherlands to Brazil
- Flight from Brazil to The Netherlands
- Hotel accommodation (middle class hotels, twin share room basis, two beds and ensuite bathroom)
- All transportation in Brazil
You can also book this tour without the airline tickets. In that case you will have to take care of the transportation to and from the Brazil. The price for the tour without airline tickets is ON REQUEST per person. The single-room supplement for this tour is € 200,-.
